With Halloween around the corner, we’re getting ready to binge our favorite Halloween films. That includes It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and of course, the Halloween movie franchise. Before we do that, we’re here today with a collection of little-known facts about the popular film series.
#1: Psycho References
For horror film buffs, one thing you may or may not have noticed is that the movie franchise has many references to Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. To begin with, Jamie Lee Curtis was cast as a tribute to her mother, Janey Leigh, who starred in Psycho back in 1960.
Another thing is how Dr. Sam Loomis was named after Sam Loomis from Psycho.
