#11: Halloween (1978)
In the film franchise Halloween, Michael Myers’ infamous mask isn’t just a random scary mask. It’s actually based on William Shatner’s face. Looking for the right mask, the production designer visited a costume shop in Hollywood, where he found a Captain Kirk mask based on Shatner’s face in Star Trek.

He spray-painted the mask white to add another layer of spookiness and added the shaggy hair, and they had the perfect DIY mask for the film, which cost under $2. William Shatner isn’t mad about it; he actually thinks it’s funny.
