#24: Psycho (1960)
Alfred Hitchcock’s shocking and groundbreaking feature horror film is simply filled with wonderful bits of trivia. The 1950s were a time of great censorship in movies, where even depicting a toilet flushing was considered too lewd. Wanting to push boundaries in every way possible, Psycho is the first film in cinema history to depict just that: the flushing of a toilet!
