If you’re anything like us, you might have a habit of becoming a little too attached to the items that find their way into your weekly grocery store run. Maybe it’s a favorite brand or flavor of chips, a beverage that you can only get at the place across town, or a sweet treat that you reserve for special occasions (like Tuesday.) The candy bar scene is comprised of some rough and tumble competition, however, and in the 1990s, Nestle’s Triple Decker Bar faded from shelves without a single salutation.
