#3: Space Food Sticks
An ingenious marketing campaign caused this space age-y snack to skyrocket in popularity with kids (pun intended.) This chewy, protein-packed snack-in-a-stick had its moment in the ’60s and ’70s. Despite the futuristic appeal and the sense of role-playing that kids enjoyed while eating Space Food Sticks, they eventually faded into a black hole of obscurity.
