Even though McDonald’s has strict policies regarding the freshness of their food, there’s a good chance that the cheeseburger or McDouble you just ate was prepared 15 minutes (at most) ago. While the 15-minute window is still pretty much fresh by any stretch of the imagination, you can get a burger made specifically for you by doing this.
When you pull up at the drive-thru window, order any burger you like. However, you have to ask that they remove or add an ingredient. No pickles, more lettuce, an extra slice of cheese, and so on. They can’t Frankenstein a burger for you, so they’ll have to make your customized burger from scratch.
