#4: Robin Williams — Hagrid
Sometimes, the rules are just the rules, even for a star like Robin Williams. He was a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and personally called the director to ask for the part of the lovable giant Hagrid in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001). But the production had a strict “British-actors-only” policy, an idea supported by author J.K. Rowling herself to keep the film authentic.
