#6: Hugh Jackman — James Bond
Playing one iconic character is tough; playing two at once can feel impossible. Hugh Jackman was already known worldwide as Wolverine when he was approached to play James Bond for Casino Royale (2006). He turned the opportunity down. Jackman felt the Bond scripts at the time had become too unbelievable, and he worried about being typecast, having no time for other roles between Wolverine and 007. The offer then went to Daniel Craig, who successfully rebooted the character for a new generation.
