This meme has to be the most Gen X thing we’ve ever seen. What better way for Gen X to explain their feelings towards boomers and millennials than with a humorous Star Wars comparison? It was one of the biggest movie franchises of their generation, after all. As this meme explains, Gen X feels a lot like Han Solo when it comes to the ever-eternal battle between millennials and boomers.
Like Han, they’re just here for the ride. Whenever boomers and millennials get into it over social media, we can depend on Gen X to absolutely not care. Why get involved when you can be eating popcorn from the sidelines? Most of the boomers out there gave birth to the millennials that they are now fighting with, and Gen X is just… there. At least they can confidently say that they didn’t shoot first.
