#18: Kentucky Weather is Wild
Kentucky can’t decide if it’s a southern or northern state, and the evidence is right here in this tweet. From thunderstorms to snow, then rain and shine, four days for four seasons sound about right. The yearly average for high temperatures is 65.2 degrees Fahrenheit, while the low is 40.7 degrees Fahrenheit.
That said, the averages get up to the 90s in the summer and the low 20s in the winter. Whew, that’s cold! With such extremes, it makes me wonder why anyone would live there. What’s so special about Kentucky that over 4.5 million people reside in the state? Maybe they’re all horse lovers.
