#24: Poor Minnesota
Why anyone would live in a state where you must shovel your way out of the snow in July is beyond me. I’m hoping this is a joke because July should be warm wherever you live in the U.S. It does make me wonder how pretty the reflection of the fireworks would be on fresh powdery snow and frozen ponds.
While there is no official record of snow in July in Minnesota, it’s a pretty common question. Check out this website, https://climateapps.dnr.state.mn.us/doc/journal/july_snow.htm, and read all about the bizarre phone calls the state gets about July 4th snow each year. It’s an unsolved phenomenon!
