#26: Missouri Is a Whole Hotel
I didn’t realize the Four Seasons Hotel offered a week-long free trial, but sign me up. I don’t care if it’s in Missouri. I’m all about free stuff. Okay, that was an awful pun. It seems Missouri and Kentucky have a few things in common. They’re even right next to each other, which explains why they have similar weather.
Missouri is nicknamed the “Show Me State,” which supposedly originated from the fact that pit bosses had to keep showing Missourians how to do things. You’d think it would be a point of pride, but according to the official state website, it now pretty much “indicate the stalwart, conservative, noncredulous character of Missourians.”
