#28: Nebraska is Not Kansas
One of the best things about Nebraska is that it isn’t Kansas. Why this is a fact so far beyond this southern gal because they all seem the same to me. Still, it appears to be a particular point of pride for Nebraskans, so who am I to judge? It makes sense, I suppose, since the leading football coach is apparently in charge.
Nebraska has a little under 2 million people in residence, which is two-thirds the amount in Kansas, even though they’re very close in size. You’d think more people would live in Nebraska since Kansas is a singular part of their motto. Ah, well. To each state, their own, right?
