Over The Line
Schools need to have rules to keep everyone safe. And parents need to abide by those same rules to keep their children from getting in trouble. Accounting for each student during morning attendance is one of those rules. If a child is late, the school needs to know why.
Yes, there should be punishments for breaking the rules, but those punishments need to be fitting for the crime. But what happens when a school takes matters into their own hands? What happens when a school publicly humiliates a small boy in front of the entire student body?
