The city of Chicago, IL, is the place this zoo is located, since 1968. The bottom line is that Lincoln Park Zoo is a great place to visit. The Kovler Lion House, Nature Boardwalk, Kovler Sea Lion Pool, Regenstein Center for African Apes, and more are just some of the Zoo’s most popular exhibits. There are more than 1,200 plant varieties at the Zoo, which provide habitats for birds, frogs, fish, and turtles, among other creatures. The Zoo even contains a Burr Oak tree that is older than the city itself.
