13. Memphis Zoo
Memphis, Tennessee, United States and founded in 1906.It’s a safe bet that the Memphis Zoo is a must-A small zoo sits in the middle of Memphis’ Midtown neighborhood, crammed with animals. This Zoo, which covers 70 acres, is a veritable jungle of monkeys, felines, and pandas. More than 3,500 animals of 500 species are found in the wild on a daily basis.
Primate Canyon, Cat Country, Dragon’s Lair, Zambezi River Hippo Camp, and the Northwest Passage were among the Zoo’s 19 principal exhibits when it opened in April 1906. The miles of exhibits can be easily traversed with the help of a tram.Activities like Wine for Rhinos and Beer for Bears round out the Zoo’s offerings in addition to its many displays.Family-friendly seminars and events like “Breakfast with the Keepers” are hugely popular, allowing children to learn about the orangutan and gorilla species.
