#7: Action Park’s Tidal Wave Pool
The Tidal Wave Pool at Action Park earned the nickname Grave Pool because of its reputation for danger. Opened in Vernon, New Jersey, it generated powerful waves that frequently overwhelmed swimmers. Between 1982 and 1987, three people passed away there. The attraction was later redesigned and continues operating in modified form.
