#20: True Romance (1993) Featured a Tarantino Self-Portrait

Clarence Worley in True Romance (1993) was largely based on writer Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino has acknowledged that many of Clarence’s interests and traits reflected his own personality. He even joked that actor Christian Slater was far better looking than the character’s real inspiration, making the film a stylized version of himself.
