#29: The Social Network
Although Mark Zuckerberg himself has contested the accuracy of this film, particularly as it portrays his personality and motivations when founding Facebook, The Social Network has been applauded by critics for its accurate portrayal of courtroom tensions, the rise of Facebook as a global media enterprise, and the social dynamics between real-life characters.

Following the legal accusations brought to court by some of Mark Zuckerberg’s closest confidants, The Social Network follows the rise of Facebook from a college project to the entity we all know and use today. While significant liberties were taken with the story for the expediency of storytelling, the tension, feelings, and dynamics of that era have been noted as historically accurate.
