Keeping Your Children/Pets Entertained
If your children aren’t old enough to lift heavy boxes, or if your dog starts barking its heart out after you’ve packed its favorite toy in a cardboard box, you should consider leaving them with friends or relatives. That way, you can pack in peace while they have something better to do.
When it’s finally time to drive to your new place, you’ll have to find ways to keep them entertained. Perhaps stop every hundred miles or so to stretch your legs and snap pictures. Maybe pack them a few snacks for the road. Believe us—keeping them busy or entertained in the backseat means you won’t go crazy during the move.
