Tiny maple tree leaf
You might need to zoom in on this one. No, it’s not paper-cut art or a huge disproportionated hand. It’s a tiny, microscopic maple tree leaf. Knowing that Canadians love their maple syrup made from the trees, if all leaves were as small as this, they would be out of stock quickly!
The leaves of this Japanese Maple Bonsai are similar to those of a regular maple tree, except much smaller; some may be the size of a nickel or even smaller. Interestingly, these mini-trees take an exceptionally long time to grow.
