Should Be a Team Player
I would be hesitant about this one. If the job opening states that they are looking for someone with a very specific skill set that you lack, then it is probably not worth your time or the hiring manager’s time to apply.
If you nearly qualify for the job and your other qualifications are decent, then go ahead and apply. The worst that could happen is that they tell you no. And if the qualification you’re missing is vague, like “good communicator,” don’t worry about it too much. After all, no one really knows what that means anyway.
