No Kids Allowed
Kids are mainly gullible because they’re still trying to understand how the world operates. If an adult they respect tells them something, they’ll integrate it into their belief system. It’s touching how trusting children are compared to many adults.
It’s pretty amusing when you think about it – being an adult around children is a big responsibility. You don’t want to make too many mistakes with your child, nephew, neighbor, or piano student. But this story is hilarious. I love that the writer noticed kids were allowed in restaurants, but instead of assuming he had been lied to, he assumed that there must have been a universal rule change!
