What a Walnut
I remember when I was younger, my grandparents had a walnut tree in their backyard. Together, we would pick them off the ground, peel away the outer layer, and then eat them. Consequently, I have plenty of experience with walnuts–and let me tell you from that perspective: they would make terrible building materials.
Unless you have experience working with walnuts, you might not know how hard they are to crack open. It’s even harder to grind them up into a smooth material. Most people don’t think about the process that goes into making chairs out of seemingly ordinary things like walnuts.
