#19: Lauryn Hill (2002)
Lauryn Hill’s MTV Unplugged 2.0 is still one of the series’ most debated performances. After retreating from the spotlight post-Miseducation, she returned with raw, unreleased songs and heartfelt reflections on fame, identity, and personal struggles. Playing solo on acoustic guitar and speaking openly between tracks, Hill’s set divided critics but has since earned a devoted fanbase who see it as one of her most honest and personal artistic statements.
