Musicians who quit live music but kept recording

Queen’s 1986 Magic Tour became the band’s final major tour with Freddie Mercury as their singer. After Mercury was diagnosed with HIV in 1987, the group decided touring was no longer possible because of his health. They continued making music, releasing Made in Heaven (1995) four years after Mercury’s death.
