Musicians who quit live music but kept recording

Leonard Cohen spent much of his later career returning to live performance, but after his final tour ended in 2013, he focused on writing and recording. He released Popular Problems (2014) and You Want It Darker (2016), with the latter arriving just weeks before his death and becoming one of his most praised albums.
