#9: Talking Heads
Talking Heads reached a high point with their 1983 tour supporting Speaking in Tongues (1983), which led to the famous concert film Stop Making Sense (1984). After creating one of the most respected live music films ever made, the band moved away from touring. They recorded three more albums before breaking up in 1991.
