Griner was compelled to spend her senior year living with an assistant coach after she disclosed her sexual orientation to her parents. Her autobiography, titled “In My Skin: My Life On and Off the Basketball Court,” was published in 2014, and it is a memoir in which she discusses bullying as well as self-acceptance.
