Darya Klishina
Long jumper Darya Klishina of Russia competed in the 2016 Olympic Games and won multiple European Championships throughout the course of her career. She also competed in the Olympics. She started playing volleyball when she was eight years old, which is what sparked her interest in sports in the first place. When she was 13 years old, she made the decision to compete in the long jump as part of a professional athletic career after being encouraged by her father, who ran long distances.
She competed at the World Athletics Championships in 2017, however she did not represent any country. Brittney Reese finished in second place with a distance of 7.00 metres, which was her personal best for the season and was only two centimetres behind her. Her distance was only two centimetres shorter than her opponent’s.
