#10: The 103rd Floor, Empire State Building, New York City
Most visitors know the Empire State Building from the 86th and 102nd floor observatories. Above them sits the far more restricted 103rd floor, an open-air ledge used for maintenance, special access, and occasional high-profile visits. It is narrow, windy, and not built for the average selfie queue. The public view is already thrilling enough. The hidden upper level turns the landmark from tourist attraction into vertical nerves. Manhattan looks different when the railing suddenly seems very modest.
