Parade or Protest
Meetings and parades are held in public squares and other public areas across the world, but it is about the only thing that these countries have in common. In North Korea, these celebrations are frequently prescribed by the state and are expected to adhere to a specific level of decorum.
In South Korea, on the other hand, they are not only used for celebrations but also as a forum for the general public to voice their concerns to the government and to others. Take a look at this former service member who seems to be against the nuclear testing that North Korea is conducting.
