Prairies De Blé
Let’s face it: the agricultural meadows of North Korea aren’t exactly the most attractive in the world. The countryside appears to be somewhat barren outside of the big cities. Even so, it is reassuring to know that the government sets aside a day in March each year for a tree planting day in an effort to assist in the reclamation of land.
On the other hand, the rural areas of South Korea are lush with vegetation, bursting with flowers, and teeming with a variety of creatures that may be found scurrying around everywhere. The photographer who took these photographs asserts that the amount of greenery in South Korea is far higher than that in its neighbouring country, North Korea.
