All right, in a show of hands, who knew this one already? Because I certainly didn’t. I’m starting to feel pretty clueless writing this article. I just thought that the number in the name of the movie theater was some kind of sequential numbering system for that chain.

So, if I heard that they were building the AMC 14 in my town, I assumed that meant that there was an AMC 13 somewhere else nearby and that the next one they built would be AMC 15. This is blowing my mind, you guys.
