#1: Dragon’s Lair (1983)
Dragon’s Lair (1983) became a sensation thanks to its animated visuals created by Don Bluth. Using LaserDisc technology, Dragon’s Lair looked unlike anything else in arcades at the time. The hardware was expensive and difficult to maintain, so original cabinets in working condition have become prized collector items.
