This story took place 20 years ago, but it still haunts the OP to this very day. Apparently, they got tested for Asperger syndrome two decades ago. At least, the OP thinks that they were tested for Asperger, though they never got the results. What kind of hospital would keep the results away from its patients?
It’s probably not the hospital that’s at fault here, but instead, it’s good ole mommy and daddy. If they knew that their kid had Asperger, which would explain a lot about their childhood and teen years, they kept it from them for 20 years. We tell ya, the stigma surrounding mental health problems is out of hand.
