It’s not uncommon to see something like this in horror movies or thrillers – bookshelves that spin and take you to some sort of secret room, pulling knobs to open secret passages, and other spooky stuff like that. This staircase hides the entrance to some sort of basement, and it’s cool because it’s right there, but you probably wouldn’t notice it if you weren’t looking for it.
