I think the truest thing I ever heard about friendships in your 30s came from the BBC radio show Cabin Pressure: “After the age of thirty, you just don’t meet anyone new. Because this is exactly what friendships are like. When you’re young, it seems like you could meet someone and suddenly you’re best friends.
