48 Signs That Made People Realize They Are Getting Old

I have identified on a really personal level with everything on this list so far, which freaks me out, because, apparently, I’m even older than I realized. But all of them were things that had occurred to me on some level before. Not so in this next post.

It had never occurred to me until this moment, but this is absolutely something that I do as well. Is this universal? Is this something that more people than just the writer and I do? And why are we so absurd as to think that turning down the music is going to help us read street signs better? It makes no sense, but I do it all the time.
