#13: If It Ain’t Broke, Don’t Fix It
When I look at this, I can hear the rattle and roar, but the owner claims that this fan from the ‘50s runs as smoothly as can be. I’ll have to take his word for it because I’ve seen a few of these, and I was not a fan (sorry, but you had to know that pun was coming).
If it genuinely isn’t a noise disaster, I bet it pumps air better than any of the plastic ones on the market today! It even has two settings, which is incredible for something so outdated. I would never have guessed! Maybe they’ll take the time to refinish it one day and make it a visual beauty, too! Add some chrome finish, and it will look futuristic!
