#22: These Boots Were Made for… Something
These are felted wool boots from Russia by Valenki. The owner has been using them for five years. They’re like giant wool socks with no soles, but they keep your feet super warm. They’re two inches thick, so water doesn’t leech into them, even when you slosh through melted snow.
Oddly enough, this picture was taken in Texas during one of the recent snowstorms. I’m trying to figure out why someone from Texas would spend $100 on wool boots for a state that gets maybe one snowstorm every few years, but it worked out for them in the end, so who am I to judge?
