#27: Still Sharp
After fifty(!) years of use, the owner finally gave in and bought a new knife. I can see why they went with the same brand, as 50 years is a long time, and it saw a lot of use. I wonder how many times it was sharpened over the years to lose that much metal. Probably hundreds, maybe thousands!
The brand is JA Henckel, a German company well-known for its kitchen knives and cutlery. You can find them all over the internet and at every major retailer. They’ve been making knives since 1731, so they know what they’re doing. Talk about quality at an affordable price!
