#8: Denim Never Goes Out of Style
This Levi’s jacket from the 80s does look a bit well used around the collar, but it’s still all in one piece, and the stitching looks pristine. The owner says it was his father’s, and he’s been wearing it for a while now. Honestly, I’m not surprised by this one. Levi’s denim is made to last.
In fact, denim is one of the more durable materials for clothing, so long as you follow a few rules: rarely wash it, always turn it inside out, let it air dry, and use a gentle detergent. If you have a jacket or pair of heavily dyed jeans, keep them out of the sun as much as possible to prevent fading.
