#3: What Makes the World Go Round
This is a pretty broad statement. Is the writer suggesting that if someone’s net worth becomes more than a billion dollars, the government should step in and take some of that money away? Or is it more of a moral stance, where the writer thinks that if billionaires had any decency, they would give their money away until their net worth dips below a billion dollars?
And what about billionaires like Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, and MacKenzie Scott, who give their money away to charitable causes by the billions? Are they spared the proverbial chopping block? Or do we lump them in with the rest and tell them they’re not allowed to have money (to give away)?
