#46: In What World?
We had a streak of a lot of really good advice, and then… this. it’s probably true that $100,000 a year is not a great income if you live in a super high cost of living area, such as the Bay Area, or if you have a lot of billionaire friends who are constantly buying megayachts and you’re trying your best to keep up with them.
But for your average person living in your average place in the US, $100,000 a year is plenty, and probably more than most of your neighbors make. If you can’t survive on that income – and even live a nice life – it’s time to take a long, hard look at your spending habits.
