Christmas in the 1970s brought together the very best and the very worst of the decade’s fads, trends, and traditions underneath one sparkly roof. From the oversized tree ornaments to the totally wild food offerings, Christmas today couldn’t get much different from how it was celebrated 50 years ago. And while it’s true that, though some customs have persisted, the ways and hows in which we bring those customs to life have taken on a new style and flavor in the 21st century.
