#13: The Rocking Horse
Rocking horses might not be as dangerous as real horses (they’re at least less temperamental), but they’re not My Little Ponies, either. Children can easily fall off rocking horses, particularly if the horse is too big for them or the seat is too high for their feet to touch the floor. The reins pose a more significant threat; a long rein can form a noose, presenting a strangulation risk. Some horses have been recalled because of this very issue (although cutting the reins is an easy solution).
