Secret Service Agents Always Accompany Family Members
The President, Vice President, and their families give up their privacy when they move into the White House and are subject to the 24/7 surveillance of the Secret Service. For their safety and protection, they are under constant observation 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It doesn’t matter what the work is, they’re always being watched or guarded.
Having your own personal protection may sound appealing at first, but we can see that not being able to go anywhere alone would get tedious after a time. However, kidnapping is a far worse alternative.
