#30: Martin Van Buren
When it comes to American politics, it is safe to assume that many people like having an all-American person as their president. And whilst this might be a lovely idea, America has always been one big melting pot of different people and cultures, so it only makes sense that this would be reflected in government.
The son of Dutch parents, the 8th president of the United States spoke English as his second language. He was the father of the Democratic party that we know today, and with an IQ of 133.4, it is no surprise how he was able to pull it off. He was so intelligent that he was admitted to the bar before he reached age 14.
