#28: William Henry Harrison
These days it isn’t uncommon for presidents of the United States to take office at a later stage in life, however, once upon a time, it wasn’t the norm. At the time he was elected to be the 9th president of the United States, William Henry Harrison was the oldest man at that time to be appointed president at age 67.
Before his short stint in office, Harrison was the first governor of Indiana, and with an IQ of 133.9, we can see why. However, William Henry Harrison had the shortest presidential term in American history, just 32 days. After a bad cold turned into pneumonia, Harrison passed away at the age of 68.
